Export working copy

Export working copy

Hello,

I have tried GPS2Aperture (0.9.14) and I can geotag my pictures in aperture.
But when I try to export a geotagged picture I have a problem:
If I use "Export Original" everthings looks good, but when I use "Export Working Copy" I can't find the geo-data in the exported picture.

Do you an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks
Thilo

Assuming you mean 'Export

Assuming you mean 'Export Version', this appears to be a bug in Aperture itself.
I've not seen it, but a few people on the Apple discussion forum have reported that it happens with all their geotagged images, no matter how the tagging was done. :-(

... a fix ...

Store your Masters outside of the Aperture Library.

For existing projects, you can use the “Relocate Masters for Project” menu item from the drop-down menu on the project directory in the Aperture “All Projects” sidebar pane, to relocate your masters from the Aperture Library to an external directory.

This glitch - missing geotag data in exported versions - only seems to happen for me, when Masters are stored in the Aperture Library - when stored externally, the geotags export fine.

btw, I'm using the most excellent Maperture plugin (from Ubermind), to tag directly within Aperture. Does not yet work from gps logs (tho I'm told this is coming, is operating in a pre-release beta of a pro version), but tags nicely thru a GoogleMaps interface.
