Only first track will be used

Only first track will be used

Hi,

it seems to me, that only the fist track will be used from a *.gpx file added to the track pool. I use a Holux M-241 GPS logger, and the data were downloaded with HoudahGPS.
After editing the gpx file to a single track, GPS2Aperture worked as expected.

Only the data between the first and are used. In my log I can find multiple tracks.

Thanks a lot for a great piece of software.

Greetings from Hamburg, Thomas

Hi Thomas, You're right,

Hi Thomas,

You're right, this is a known bug and is on my list of things to fix.

Thanks,

Ian

One more

Fine Ian, thanks for the response.
One more: After testing around, I found that the country and location information are added to the tags, but not the coordinates. My pictures are stored in the Aperture Library. I'm not sure, if the information I read here in other threads are up to date.

Greetings from Hamburg, Thomas

Your copy of Aperture is set

Your copy of Aperture is set to Deutsch? Another (and more urgent) bug is the way GPS2Aperture tells Aperture to update it's EXIF metadata, which fails on non-English installs of Aperture because GPS2Aperture refers to a menu item by name.

For now, you can work around this by waiting until GPS2Aperture has finished, then going to the menu and clicking on "EXIF aktualisieren vom Original".

Thanks,

Ian

Success

Hi Ian, this workaround works fine, thanks again.
