I had a simple script working to export the latest version of each of my photos using the same folder structure I have for my projects and albums in Aperture.
However, I get a warning that Assistant is not tested on this version of Aperture (2.1.4) - I choose continue, then I get an error report after a 100 failed image exports. The error is "ACTION NODE 2 Export Version ERROR - image did not export!" - no information why.
Script is very simple:
Source node, with Other, my first project name, Tree structure, depth infinite and go into projects ticked
Action node: find all albums
Action node: Export, export version, JPEG - original size
What do I need to do to make this work again?
Curious thing is that when I run it in test mode, although I get the same warning about AA not being tested, the log reports that my images would export successfully.
Try taking out the 'find all albums' action, that has no place in a workflow for exporting files, just when you want to see where Versions have been added!

No difference - the test run says "would export" but the full run doesn't failing with an error on each image: ACTION NODE 1 Export Version ERROR - image did not export!
I see the problem - I think - on the Action node, I'm just putting it into the workflow and leaving the defaults after I choose Export Version - however, if I choose any of the options for the type of export, the drop down turns into "error" - it seems impossible to set up Export Version. If I use Export Preview it works fine.
A bug?
Could you email me either the workflow or a screenshot of the workflow and error message?
support 'at' aperture-assistant.com
I also need to know the version of the OS, Aperture and Aperture Assistant.
Thanks,
Ian
